Re: '92 ciera s radio no sound on right side ft and back

How do you get the covering off on the dash (Haynes manual just says "remove the instrument panel trim plate"-but gives no instructions where the bottom screws are to remove it) to get to the radio? I think the problem with the right side speakers not working is the connection at the radio or the radio itself. I removed 2 phillips screws at the top but the bottom does not come off on the instrument panel trim plate (in other words, where are the screws at the bottom of the instrument panel trim plate?) that would allow me to remove and test the connections at the radio.

Re: '92 ciera s radio no sound on right side ft and back

Please someone answer my question! I did further tests and there is not power going to the right speakers therefore, it is the connection at the radio or the entire right side amp. for the radio blown or something. How do I get to the radio to test it? I might get one from a salvage yd to put in
