i got a 94 3.1 lumina and in cold morning the overheating light comes on right after you turn on the car. the light will stay on for about 30 sec then will slowly dim and turn off. i have change the temp sensor low coolant sensor and flushed the antifreeze in October.

Re: overheating while freezing outside?
There are 2 coolant temp sensors, one for the computer, 2 wire and one for the gage, one wire, maybe you changed the wrong one?
