Exclamation 00 p71 leak

i just bought a 2000 p71 with 160k on it and today when the motor hit a high rpm it started to leak which seemed to be anitfreeze/oil mix it came out of a plug thats orange right at the front of the motor next to the coolant sensor. any ideas on what the problem is and what the orange plug is thanks

Sounds like you blew a hole in the coolant bridge on the intake manifold. It's a known problem on certain years of the Crown Vics and Grand Marquis'. Yours falls in that category. The material used for the bridge has been problematic in taking the temperature and pressure changes over time and fail. There are new intake manifolds available with the metal coolant crossovers which correct this problem.
