How Do I remove My Emblem?

Hey,

I own a 2003 Acura 3.2 CL Type-S and I'm just starting on my modifications. Do you know how I could remove my 3.2 CL Type-S emblam without messing up my paint and Do you know if they are attached by little prong type things that are put into the body, or just by some sort of glue. Please help me!

most of the newer cars have emblems just attached with foam tape. just rip off the emblem and get off as much of the tape as possible, then use mineral spirits or a like item to clean of any remaining resadue, then give it a quick wipe with hand glaze or something like that or dust/dirt with show up where your emblem was. long story short, just make sure you clean it up good!!

i would take fishing line and run it behind the emblem till it comes off. then use a bug & tar remover to get rid of all the sticky residue after.
