O/D light flashing!!!Hesitation when acceleration!!!!
I have a mecury mystique 1999 V6 24V.....
My problem is that the O/D light is blinking now and when i pull off or atempt to accelerate it as a big hesitation....pls help this mecury is becoming a big problem....

Bad news my friend. Mine was doing the same thing and 1 day later I lost all forward gears. Your check engine light will come on next and the code will read: Transmission slippage/ low fluid or bad transmission. Mine is the latter unfortunately. Hopefully yours is the other! Good luck!
