Tech School/College questions.

Hey, I had a few questions concerning tech schools and all that jazz. Im in my senior year in highschool, I go to vo tech for architecture (thought i wanted to do that, lost interest in the field) Anyway. I grew up around motors and all that, was always into cars but never seriously thought of making that my career, my sophomore year i got a job at a junkyard and worked there for a year, which is when I really got the urge to work on cars. After highschool I was planning on going to a community college for a business certificate, afterwards not so sure, A community college in the next state (right over the delaware bridge) has a auto course, thinking of taking that, What i wanted to know is what would be the best as far as getting my foot in the door in the career, should i go to the community college for the auto course? Or go to a tech school such as UTI or Wyotech (the closest UTI is in Pa. I'm in the southern most part of jersey) Also are these tech schools really as good as they say? I hear its still hard to find a job coming out, I really love doing this sorta stuff, Would just like to have the comfort of knowing i can find a stable paying job to support myself. Thanks
