2001 Gtp

First. My blower only works on high and low speeds. Nothing inbetween. Sounds like a simple resistor pack or whatever. Will be replacing it tomarrow. Second. When i turn on the blower the info center goes out. Is this also related to the bloer resistors? or is it another problem?

Re: 2001 Gtp

Try the blower motor resistor first which should take care of the other blower speeds not working. If the problem persists or the DIC continues to act up then you have a flaky ignition switch.

Re: 2001 Gtp

Ya so i replace the resistor and the info center headlights are still acting up. Is there any how to on the web for this or is there any thing else i have to replace with it. I though i heard of replacing the switch and some sort of harness?

Visit our Grand Prix Tips & Maintenance forum where we have a tech procedure on a DIY replacement since it is a common problem. Also, there is a pic to give you an idea what it looks like. See link below.
