Sticky driver-side caliper, help.

Replaced the sticky one with a new one. Bled the brakes, all good. For about
4 miles, then it started again. I have read on here about the brake line collapsing, but don't think that's the case because when the caliper sticks, the wheel locks up, then unlocks with authority. Almost a clunk when it pops open. I would think that if the rubber hose broke down, the caliper would be stuck and/or dragging all the time and it's not. Brake fluid looks clean, wheel spins freely on jack stands and makes no noises, it actually seems worse with the new caliper vs. the old.

95, 2500, 4x4, 8800gvw. 360,
443,000 miles

Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Jay

If the brake hose is original,,given the mileage on the truck, I would replace the hose. Did you lube the brake pad slides ? I presume since it is a new caliper the caliper slides were already lubed. Can't hurt.

Re: Sticky driver-side caliper, help.

Ok, bled the brakes again, sticky front caliper fixed, now the rear passenger side shoes are locking up when stopping. Is this a sign I need new shoes or should I turn the adjuster to compensate?

Thanks,
Jay
