ABS and Trac Off
I just replaced a "bad" front hub assembly driver's side. When I started there were "no" lights on. Now the ABS and Trac Off lights are on. What have I done or what do I need to do?

Re: ABS and Trac Off
Obviously it is failing ABS initialization. Get it scanned with an ABS capable scan tool to make sure no other hubs are bad or causing the issue. Also, double check the electrical connection on the replaced hub. What brand hub was used?

Re: ABS and Trac Off
The bearing was a "National". It was the only one I could get my hands on today. Changing the hub is fairly simply. What confuses me is the fact that no lights were on until replacing the bad hub.

Re: ABS and Trac Off
How was the electrical connector at the hub? If you have a multimeter (DMM) you can run a resistance check of the wheel sensor. Maybe the National had a defective one. Around 1K-1.5K ohms.
