no brake lights, signal lights, ABS, defrost and power locks

Hello, I have a 98' cavalier Z24 and for some reason I have no brake lights(including third brake light), signal lights don't work, rear defrost doesn't work, power door locks don't work only work with the key fod when unlocking driver door, won't unlock passenger door or power lock both doors, and abs light is on.

Now at times it will all work again for a little bit at random so I know something must be all connected together on this, I tried replacing the multi function switch and all it fixed was my drl problem. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this problem ? thanks.

Re: no brake lights, signal lights, ABS, defrost and power locks

The high-mount brakelites are wired differently than the other brake lites. It's only goes through the brake lamp switch, the circuit goes hot when you step on the brake. The fuse circuit is hot all the time. The brake pedal switch should be in contact with the upper brake pedal arm. You need to do testing at those circuits for the switch, when the problem occurs.
