89 Olds 98 Trans

Hey guys,

I need a new trans for my 89olds. It seems there are more available of the 4T60E then the non-electronic controlled version. Is it possible to upgrade to the 4T60E? I'm gussing i would require the computer and harness for the trans, or is this more work then trying to find a 4T60?

Forget the electronic conversion, keep looking for a direct replacement.
