THE ELEMENT

I, MYSELF JUST DON'T GET IT. WHO IS IT MARKETED TOWARDS? CAN YOU ACTUALLY MODIFY IT? AND IF YOU CAN MAKE IT FASTER, YOU WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THE WHEELS OFF TO NOT HAVE IT FLIP OVER.
JUST MY THOUGHTS...

don't really think ppl would buy it to modify it (but...ppl mod geo metro's into 11 second passes at the track so...i dunno). i DO think that it is ugly, an that i personally would never buy it. looks like a box of animal crackers on wheels...

Yes, I own an Element!

And yes, it is UGLY isn't it? But it sure has more character than most cars on the market. I fell in love with mine once I saw how VERSATILE it was. It didn't take long to get used to the appearance, until now I LOVE the way it looks! Kind of like a pug or chihuahua, the Element is so UGLY it's CUTE!!

I knew that I had to have one of these things before I even test drove one! I waited 6 months learning everything I could before going to my Honda dealership. The wait just made me want one more than anything, so I knew it wasn't just an impulse buy. And then when I finally saw one in person it was all over. I drove my baby home that day and have never regretted it since!

Until this forum adds a section for Element owners to discuss their problems, I recommend one of the following sites for those who have questions;

www.hondaelement.org
http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/

Yahoo! also has a good group for the Honda Element, although not as user friendly as the two forums listed above.

Hope that helps!

Hehehe... no, not rap. Nevermind.

As far as the animal cracker comment? I must admit that was kind of funny!

At least with all the cargo space (and the fact that all 4 seats fold down flat!) there's more room for the animals to stretch!
