ram 1500 1994 5.9 laramie
When I turn heat on smells like antifreeze. How do you fix the problem at the doors bottom, they get rusty right at the bottom middle of doors. Thanks for the help.

You need a new heater core. And as far as the rust goes, get it fixed asap, as it will just continue to get worse all the way across. After you get it fixed, you can pour some motor oil in the bottom of the door every so often and that willl keep it from happening again. You can remove the plastic oval shaped buttons from the bottom of the door and use one of those oil squirt cans with the flexible tip. Just don't put too much or will be leaking out for days. Easy to wipe it off though compared to having the door rot again.
