02 Caravan Front Brake Caliper - Teves

Trying to change front pads. Can't find what I need to remove 2 caliper guide bolts. Is it Allen bolt? ~7mm? or SAE? Each bolt has a rubber boot around it - Doesn't seem like I should pull that off to expose head. Thanks, Doug

I am not sure but it seems to me that they were torx head bolts.
No to don't need to remove rubber boots to get bolt out.

Try calling a parts store to see if they know off hand, maybe they will look for you as the caliper bolts normally come with the caliper.

Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Thanks, tempfixit. Great idea - went by autozone and had them pull caliper to look - caliper doesn't have guide bolts and they didn't have any - LOL. Bought a 7mm Hex socket - dumb lucked right into it. Doug
