Use of Jack Stands?

I know its been several years since this was addressed but I was hoping that somebody had an answer to it now. I am wondering the same thing.

To answer your question the best place to place jack stands on the front end for safety is at the area of the subframe....where the lower control arms connect. The subframe is what holds the engine and transaxle to the body.

Use the jacking points prescribed in the owner's manual.

Ive got a new downpipe coming from zzperformance.com and i really dont know where there is a good spot to set the car onto the stands that will leave enough room to still fit the jack down there to get it onto/of off.
