stinking ABS light

I posted a while back trouble with abs light. The light goes on and off. During the normal start the abs light comes on ,the light for brakes come after. During the not so normal starts the abs light comes on but the brake light does not. The result is the overhead console temp gauge ,blower motor ,power windows all stop working. Thought the problem could be in the battery. Just changed it the problem continues. Sometimes the brake light comes on during driving . It seems to reset the abs light and it goes out. All the previous mention temp gauge, blower motor, power windows then work. The Blazer is 1997 s10 LT 4.3 w

Re: stinking ABS light

A very common problem with '97 is a faulty ignition switch. All kinds of screwy things can happen depending on what circuits mess up in the switch. There is a thread in the Blazer "How-To" section that tells how to replace it.
