95 Pathfinder Transmission problem
Hello,
We have a 95 Pathfinder with an automatic transmission. The power steering belt came off and cut one of the transmission cooling lines. We lost most of the fluid. I have refilled it, but now it will not shift past 2cnd gear. Reverse works fine, fist and second work great, but that is it. How difficult are these things to fix? Do I need to do a complete rebuild? Is there anything tricky about removing and reinstalling one of these? Thanks for any advise. Wes |

Re: 95 Pathfinder Transmission problem
Thanks for the reply pathfinderfishy. I bought a Haynes repair manual today. There is no mention of the limp mode. As a matter of fact, there is very little mention of the automatic transmission at all. It goes as far as to tell you how to remove and replace one, but thats about it.
If someone has any information about the limp mode, and where I might get instruction to reset it I would be very appreciative. Thank you Wes |
