WANTED: Junk Car

Hey guys, just so you know i'm a little new to this site, just signed up a few moments ago, and I don't want to seem like one of those people who expects free things. I was just wondering if anyone had a junk car that doesnt run, or runs poorly that they wernt using. Im getting ready to start my Auto-Mechanics class at ATI on January 22nd and part of the program allows us to use one of our cars as "ginny pigs" to fix solutions to it. Any response is welcome, evan if it is feedback thats telling me im completly and utterly insane for asking =)....Thanks again guys.

Welcome to AF!. Check your local classifieds or craigslist, or place an ad in either with your request. Many areas have an online group (Yahoo group) called Freecycle. In that group members exchange items they no longer need in an effort to keep useful items out of landfills.I've seen requests for running vehicles on my local site so I'm sure it's not that "out of the way" to ask for a "junk" car. Just mention what you intend to do with the car and you might get more results.

where you located ?? we need more info. i have an all original 116k miles 85 buick riviera with 307 4bbland auto trans needs carb rebuilt and new brake master cylinder and brake systembled out and some minor other things, good car solid frame cheap
