Radiator Leak '89 Bronco

After some time, I finally discovered a leak in my radiator from the fitting that is just below the overflow rubber tube. The leak is actually coming from where this fitting is connected to the radiator ( sides of which are nylon/plastic ) not where the tiny metal tube connects to the fitting.

My question(s), Can this area be repaired/replaced? If so, will JB weld work or the radiator stop leak stuff that is sold at the parts store?

I'm trying not to spend $200 for a new radiator if possible. Thanks for looking and responding in advance.

Re: Radiator Leak '89 Bronco

it may be possible to patch it - at least temporarily - with a ""cold weld"" epoxy such as J-B Weld.i would let it sit for 24 hours or more becausee of the flow of the water in ur radiator, going form hot to cold. and going over the weld

Ask Ford parts if they sell a new insert for the tube. Some times you can remove them and go to the hardware or parts store and get a copper fitting that will work. I thiink the quick disconnect is leaking and you should be able to use a tool pull the tube out and repair it.
