96 Cavalier Nothing When I turn The Key

Just started this morning, I went out to go to work got in the car turned the key and nothing. No radio, no fuel pump, nothing. Popped the hood checked connections and still nothing. Checked battery lots of power. Tried it one more time and it started. Parking brake light came on and stayed on. Shut it off, started again. Left it for a few minutes and tried it again, and nothing no radio, pump, nothing. All this just started usually runs excellent only 60000 miles on it. ??????????

I would start by cleaning the battery terminals. Auto Zone and Advanced Auto will check the charging system free.
