Coolant Crossover o-rings?

I have a '00 Rodeo 2WD w/ 3.2L 6VD1. I have read multiple posts about the coolant crossovers under the intake manifold that have o-rings to seal them. Does this apply to my '00 model and if so where can I find them? I have not been able to locate a listing on many auto parts web sites. Thanks

For the part numbers, go to myisuzuparts.com.
Select:
2000
Rodeo
maintenance parts
cooling
gasket;thermostat
and you'll get an image with the ring and the part numbers.

Re: Coolant Crossover o-rings?

Sweet, thanks. Would have never found it being under the thermostat listing.

Any chance of these being available at places other than the dealer?

Re: Coolant Crossover o-rings?

Not sure. I grabbed a bag o' gaskets at the local big box store and none seemed to be right, so I ended up ordering from St. Charles.

Re: Coolant Crossover o-rings?

The parts numbers on the myisuzuparts.com website might be wrong or outdated. When I changed those out I ordered from Merlin. He looked up the numbers for me. He sent me those o-rings as (this is exactly what was printed on the invoice and part bag)...

GASKET; OIL PIPE
1-09623-130-0

GASKET; WATER P
9-09561-225-0

When I was halfway throught the repair I noticed that the old o-rings that I removed looked like they were actually "D"-rings (crossection shape), I checked them against myisuzuparts.com. Only one of them even registered and I think it was for an older model that had the thermostat in an easy place to get to. I wasn't about to go through the hassle of getting this deep only to put on the wrong 50 cent parts.

I called Merlin back. He said that the parts were in fact the correct ones even though one was labeled as an oil pipe gasket. I think I remember him saying that the part numbers on myisuzuparts.com may have referenced the original "D" rings that the factory used, while the numbers that he sent were the "O" rings that were used as repair.

Also, if its helpful as a starting off point, these are the part numbers of some other pieces you'll have easy access to. Keep in mind you may need to doublecheck the drawings/partslist on myisuzuparts.com for correct maufacture dates and engine types. Mine is a 2001 Rodeo Sport Automatic 3.2 V6 2wd

GASKET; INL MANIF
8-97237-538-0
intake manifold gaskets x2

GASKET; COMMON C
8-97254-448-0
common chamber gasket (I just realized this is the wrong part for my year Rodeo Sport, *uck it)

GASKET; TB
8-97193-729-1
throttle body gasket

GASKET; EGR VLV
8-97104-317-2

GASKET; INJECTO
8-17113-400-0
top/bottom rings for each injector (half bigger, half smaller), enough for a V8

THERMOSTAT
8-97362-894-0
(dammit, another wrong year, doublecheck your parts guys!!!!)

HOSE; WATER T/V
8-97231-680-0
feed, I think this one was easy to get to without the big tear down but what the hell, in for a penny in for a pound

HOSE; WATER T/V RE
8-97136-219-2
return

HOSE; WATER BY-PAS
8-97167-694-2

Well I've had no problems or leaks other than my heater has been just a bit cooler at highest output. Or maybe it just feels that way since it's gotten much colder out. I should have had my VIN number available when I ordered the parts. That may have helped keep things straight.
