Ecotec 2.2L burning out ignition modules

I have a 05 Saturn Ion with the Ecotec 2.2L.

The vehicle burns out ignition modules withing a few hundred miles of installing them.

In the last 6 months, I've installed 2 used and 4 new modules.

It's burned out again, and they don't want to warranty them.

Any ideas what's killing my modules???

I would take a guess and say a bad ground sounds like a culprit. I would have tthe power input tested and see if it's coming in higher or fluctating.
