Question Even Radio Frequensyon Delco Radio

Hi!
I have a Silverado -00 With the standard built in stereo, and i wounder if it is possible to set the standard Delco CD/Radio to an even FM radio frequensy? Since here in Sweden we the most radio stations is transmitting on even frequenses for example xx.4, xx.6, xx.8 but my i can only tune my radio to uneven xx.3, xx.5, xx,7 and so on...

And i friend of mine said that they hade a Dodge truck in wich you held a button and then you could tune in even frequenses an this was also a Delco radio so I wounder if theres a simular way of doing it on my truck.

/Christian

having lived in europe I know that the bandwidth is also different..I have see on other radio equiptment this switch to change to your areas broadcast frequencies.

because you have an oem delco radio ,,,info on this equiptment is limited[as I'm sure you know] perhaps you should consider an up grade to an aftermaket receiver with superior performance, that best matches your needs..this then can be transferred to any other vehicle ,if you dump the gm vehicle....

Re: Even Radio Frequensyon Delco Radio

I'm with j cAT...most aftermarker radios have the option of switching to European frequency adjustment (0.05 or 0.1 increments). Alternatively, you might ask a Saab dealership (owned by GM) if they might know the right key sequence. Good luck, and let us know if you find the answer!
