94 C1500 silverado won't start, but turns over
I have a 94 c1500 that cranks over, turns over but doesn't start i spent today replacing the distributor cap/rotor to no avail. I also open up the breather and checked for fuel being sprayed into the carburator and it was dry and i seen no evidence or smell of gas/fuel. so, do you think it can be the fuel pump. if it is, is it easy to replace. i know you have to drop the tank. i looked online and they sell the pumps for 50-60 bucks at your usual auto parts places. question: it says that the warranty isn't any good without replacing the strainer. how much is the strainer? any advice? thanks

Re: 94 C1500 silverado won't start, but turns over
A fuel pressure test will confirm- as well as jumping 12v to your fuel pump prime connector underhood. Does it fire with carb cleaner sprayed into air intake?
Remember, with a pickup truck- you have the option of lifting the bed off to access the F/P- no need to empty the gas tank that way....

I had a very similar problem, wiggle the grounds on your intake behind the thermostat housing. I found a loose ground after a bunch of work & money.
