91 firebird headlights

I have a 1991 firebird, 305 tbi. I love the car and it drives awesome but the flip up headlight actuators dont work and i think its a relay but i cant find it. I been to part stores and they dont have any listings on them. Anybody have any Ideas?

Re: 91 firebird headlights

Try raising them manually with the knob beside them under the hood. If they raise and lower without slipping this way, then you need the headlight control module. It is a flat black plastic box mounted on the firewall in the engine ay on the driver side and has a long slim connector on it. These are EXPENSIVe units so try the junkyard first.
If they don't raise and lower manually or slip when doing that, go here http://www.top-downsolutions.com/pro...products_id=87 and order the kit. This is more than likely the problem.
