turn signal/hazard flasher

Ok, so my turn signal lights started malfunctioning a few days ago, none of the bulbs are bad, but now i cant turn the flashers off, they stay on all the time and also flash really fast. i pulled the fuse(which is also not blown) so i could at least drive down the road without having my lights going haywire for now. i looked in the haynes manual for the location of the flasher module, and it said that it is located "under the instument panel, to the right of the steering colume." i must be blind, bc i CAN NOT find the little bugger, anyone know where it is??? haha, thanks!

i THINK i found the flasher unit...heres a link to a picture of what i found and pulled out...

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...1/flasher2.jpg

does that look right?

and if so, i just went to autozone and advance auto, and then spent quite a bit of time looking on the internet, and cant seem to find a replacement...any ideas as to where i might find one?? thanks!!!

Re: turn signal/hazard flasher

Part # MB943259

I got that from zooming in on the pic you posted. Typed it into google, and it IS the turn signal flasher relay.

As far as finding one, if you can't get one at a parts store, then you'll probably have to go to the dealership.

Re: turn signal/hazard flasher

Actually, I take that back. If worse come to worse, I have an extra one from the Spyder I can pull for you that works. Let me know.

Re: turn signal/hazard flasher

Well I called the Mitsu dealer to get an idea of how much these things cost. $87.66! lol Wasn't sure if you already called and got the price or not. I'll send you mine for $35 shipped. If you have PayPal we can make the transfer that way, it'd be the easiest and I can get it out to you ASAP. Let me know if you want it soon so I can go out back and pull it off the Spyder.

Re: turn signal/hazard flasher

Once you log into PayPal, use my e-mail address to send the payment.

Login into PayPal, click on Send Money at the top.

Enter my e-mail address, and the amount. Click Continue.

Note: if you don't have anything in your PayPal account, you'll have to withdraw funds from a bank account or another funding source that you'll have to set up on PayPal.

BUT, before you send me anything let me take the part out of the Spyder first and I'll test it in my hardtop before anything else, I just want to make sure 100% I'm sending you a good working part.

e-mail: [email protected]

I'll let you know when I get the part out and tested, it'll probably be today or tomrrow.

EDIT>> if worse comes to worse, I'll give you my mailing address and you can send me a money order
