NE1 convert their fixed glass hatch to flip-up?
Was wondering if anyone here has tried converting their fixed-glass rear hatch to a flipper glass? I'm about to attempt it with my '95 Orvis; got the glass, hinges, loom, latches, weatherstrip, etc., thru ebay. Thought I'd see if anyone had any forehand advice. Thanks.

Sounds like the only thing you still need is the liftgate

Are you saying that the carcass is different between the fixed-glass liftgate and the flipper-glass liftgate?

That's exactly what I'm saying.

Save the effort.
We rarely use the flipper glass on our '98 GC 5.9.
