I'm new to the park avenue world, but I bought an ultra that needed struts in the rear pretty bad. I went to auto zone got a set of ultra air struts. I just finished installing them and when i turn the ignition the rear pumped it self up. Now the car looks like its ready to go drag racing, the rear is way higher then the front. Are there any adjustments to make this thing come down?
Ps I should of checked hear first, seems like everyone recommends the Monroe brand. |

Re: 96 Ultra Rear air struts
Welcome to AF. Make sure the leveling sensor in the rear is not bad, damaged or disconnected.

Re: 96 Ultra Rear air struts
If the I move the armature up or down the struts should inflate and deflate correct? When I unhooked it and pushed the compressor came on, so I let it hung lose for a while and they never came down. I unhooked the air lines and I hear no air escaping?

Re: 96 Ultra Rear air struts
Check valve in the compressor could be stuck/frozen.

Re: 96 Ultra Rear air struts
Even with removing the air lines, should something come out?
