Revell '69 Nova - Stock Version
This is Revell's new '69 Nova SS built OOB/stock for Scale Auto expanded review. It's in the February '09 issue just hitting the newsstands now.
It's a really nice kit overall, just a few minor issues that pale in comparison to the finished appearance. It was a good fun kit to build, and detail freaks will be able to do a lot to take this model to even higher levels of detail. This is how the kit was built for the review; painted with MCW Frost Green paint which is an authentic 1969 color:   I also have painted another set of wheels and added '69 poverty caps which aren't currently on the model. I may add whitewalls and a vinyl roof to make it even more unique.

This is a perfect example of how a simple stock plain jane car can be a masterpiece. The build is super clean and all you see is the car as it was meant to be in all it's all glory. This really inspires me for my '66 Nova.

REALLY nice build. As I have one I'm working on now, it's good to see a box-stock sample so I can judge the stance. Lots of people don't appreciate the Novas, but they were real sleepers back in the day, and I'm going to get this one done without any huge mods, THEN see how far I want to take the next one.
Great work, makes me almost want to get the SAE just for that article.

Awesome job Bob!. I really like it in that color. Your build really makes me want to build mine but it'll be awhile, still setting up the new room, and rest of the house for that matter.
