3.8L Series 2 Headers?

Were can I find performance headers for my car that don't cost in the $700+ range $700 is just stupid! I can buy 3 sets of tires for my race car for that. Im looking in the range of $300 or below.

Re: 3.8L Series 2 Headers?

this post was from 1 1/2 years ago. Not only has everyone forgot bout it, scott is banned from this site now. ne way the reason those headers r cheap is because they r not good. If you want somethig cheaper instead of headers id go with a ported exhaust manifold. you can get from zzperformance.com or from 3800performance(when the wpis come out)

Foot,

Any proof to your statement.

vs.

Sorry, but I'd take the headeros over the mani's any day. BTW, I see no gain what so ever from my ported front manifold.

Re: 3.8L Series 2 Headers?

just word of mouth you might b right, headers would def give you more hp, but not a huge amount more, probly get round 15 from the headrs, 10 from the manifolds, i donno but ive heard a lot v hype about the wpi ported manis (as much as youll hear about manifolds ne way) i guess i would just rather have a high quality part than a lesser one w/ a few more ponies. Up to you i guess
