Ecotec Swap?

Does anybody know if anyone has achieved a Ecotec swap in a S10?

Ecotec is a more powerful 4cyc engine, they put them in the cobalts and cavaliers, was wondering if anyone has heard anything about someone putting them in a S10.

i know of one person. and it took him a long time. but then again he rewired the hole truck to. he said the it was hard to find a trany that would fit up.
