Changing the wheel bearing on 99 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4

I was searching through the forums and I came across this http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...hlight=bearing

I was reading the 2001 manual available for download and it mention about wheel hub assembly. I was wondering that the wheel hub assembly should also have a front and back bearings on it.

Searched through autozone and napaonline shows that they only sell the wheel hub assembly. However, searching through oreillyauto site shows that they also sell the front and back bearings for my vehicle in addition to the whole wheel hub assembly.

http://shop.oreillyauto.com/ProductD...pe=184&PTSet=A

and

http://shop.oreillyauto.com/ProductD...pe=184&PTSet=A

Has anyone able to replace just the bearings for the wheel hub assembly on their truck?

Thanks.

You need to replace the whole assembly. What you are looking at is the inner and outer for a 2 wheel drive.
