van wont start

i have a dodge caravan 2001, my husband went and started the van ran it for about 10 minutes and then got stuck on ice taking it out of our driveway my father was with us and hooked the van up to a towing cable and pulled on it during that time the van just died no sputter or chock just died, and would not restart. when we turn the key theres a ONE click sound coming from the relay box. we charged and checked the battery its reading 12 volts. no check engine light or anything, all lights and radio come on like normal. the batterylight came on one day and when i turned the van off and turned it back on the batterylight went off ...(it came on when i hit a fairly large piece of ice on the road and caused me to jump a little no more than a speed bump though) our passanger left window doesnt roll down or up but thats been like that for a long while...so ...ANY SUGGESTIONS im a girl and if i take my van in they will try charging me 400 bucks for something they would charge my dad 120 bucks for so im not taking it in ...i want to fix it myself so if you say parts PLEASE tell me where i can locate them in the engine so its easier for me to look for them.

Re: van wont start

When they put the strap on the van to pull you out could they have perhaps crushed a fuel line or pulled a connection free?
