Sorry for the previous unfinished post's,my computer has gone loony!
Anyway it was a nice test drive by Tiff, but he said the circuit was too small to get the full potential out of the GTR.He blamed the mechanics for toning down the cars setup for the test, saying it was not in full race mode.
I'm sorry i dont know which episode it was,& have never seen the clip on youtube etc

Re: What are the Top Gear episodes that feature McLaren F1s?

I wish somebody would set up a file sharing site where you could view all of the videos of the f1 in all different formats. I managed to download a video of a Fina longtail lapping a circuit that was posted here a while back (great video) but my new laptop has Vista and I cant seem to play the file.

I think if it was set up where only AutomotiveForum members could use it we could bypass the legal troubles. (copyright notices, disabled playback, etc,)

Hey
I agree with ExoticSpotting on that.
Let me know what type of file it is and I'll try and let you know what might be able to play it. VLC Media Player is always a good place to start tho.
Thanks for info so far

Well, that's a rather inefficient way to solve the problem. Why host 34 different versions of the same file? A better way is to have a player capable of playing as many formats as possible.

I recommend VLC as well. It's what I use and I have never had a problem. I also like the fact you can speed up and slow down the playback speed, as well as the ability to slide the playhead to specific points. It's great for "skimming" through videos to get to a particular segment ie. the part featuring the really hot girls the McLaren F1.

The program was Top Gear Motorsport, 1/2 hour in week program on BBC2. I have shared that clip with a few people here on the forum. Not a bad little blast, around the Brands indy circuit. Tiff gets all the good drives

Although I did not see all the episodes, they covered some British GT,s inc #02R with Jake Ulrich. As its featured in the start sequence.
