strange noise help

Hello all, First of all thank you for reading my post. I am having trouble with my car and I found this website through Google. It is a 1995 Saturn SL1 1.9L auto. I bought it for 400 bucks about a month and a half ago. It burns oil, but other than that has ran flawlessly until yesterday. I started it up yesterday morning to go do something and as soon as I started the motor I head a horrible noise inside of the car. I leave it running and open the hood and don't hear anything, but when I get in the car I hear it. It sounds like the noise is coming from underneath the passenger side foot well, and inside the car it sounds like a rice racer with a bumblebee exhaust but out of the car you cant hear it. It happens in park, drive, reverse, neutral and it gets louder when I turn left.

Any ideas,
Chris Dill

Re: strange noise help

Im guessing part of the exoust is touching the floor pan of the car. Does it change with throttle input?? Change when you put it in, or take it out of gear??
