Intermittant miss

Im new to this forum, I have a 95 K1500 with 5.7 auto trans what my problem isthat i have an intermittant miss at all rpms it will back fire and feel like its has a fuel problem and other times it runs fine it has now codes stored. beforei start throwing money it i thought i would try to get a few ideas what the problem may be. thanks for any help

Can you post the codes that you now have? That would help. Backfire, could be EGR operation, ignition coil, wires and or plugs, pickup coil, ignition module or a mechanical issue.

Are the injectors dripping at idle? The Fuel pressure regulator is in the TBI unit and the diaphram could be leaking.

I have no scan tool, but by grounding A and B together all i get is 12 the handshake code with no others i checked this a couple times, it seams strange that there wouldnt be any codes stored

Does it only do it when going uphill? If so, then I would suspect fuel pump or fuel filter.

I would start by replacing fuel filter.

If it does it under all load conditions, then I would look at cap and wires. Also check for vacuum leaks.............
