Re: Electrical Problem

I hope you don't have the same issue as I do on my wipers! I'm going nuts! I'm hoping it's a grounding issue! I have since replaced both the wiper motor and the switch & it's still not working, Only the the spray option when the switch is pressed. If i click the switch to the 1st on position the wipers will 99% of the time run continually in the low speed but their are days when that does not even work.

The Voyagers are well known for bad ground points! If you follow the wires from the back of that left headlight bulb you will see one wire connected to a ground point on the inside wheel well. Pull the plastic cap, remove the nut & connector, clean & re-assemble. If light is still dim try running a wire from the negative side of the battery post to the ground wire. If that fixes the issue you indeed have a grounding issue.

The wiper issues your having could be a number of issues. 1st, swap the two wiper relays located in the fuse box under the hood, if nothing changes the relays are possibly not the issue.

Their are three different ground blocks related to the wipers, (others correct me if I'm wrong);
One ground block with a number of wires going to it near the steering column (under the dash) and two under the hood. One on the cowl (I'm not 100% sure where it's located and another on the engine block real close to the Auto Transmission dip stick. I "believe" its near the bracket that secures the top of the dip stick, corner of the engine block, two black wires, One looks like it might be the other end of one of the wires to the negative battery terminal.
