Re: 2000 geo metro

get you a haynes book for that car and it should have all the specs. even if you go to autozone they can tell you and they sale hanyes manuals there.you'll probaly need manul later on if your keeping the car.you may even call dealer and ask for parts and they will be able to give you them.

good luck....

Re: 2000 geo metro

26 ft/lbs Don't get a Haynes or Chilton, get a real manual.

Also, I'm going to sound like an asshole here, but attention to details is what makes the difference in any kind of maintenance or repair, it's often the finer points that hold the solution. You should have said what engine you have, and there's no such thing as a 2000 Geo Metro, the last Geo was sold in 97.

One of the few things I do well, so I do it often. :-)

Re: 2000 geo metro

A-hole or not, Woodie has a point. It should be mandatory that posters list their car details in their signature so that it's obvious to others what drivetrain is being worked on. It's very easy to do:

Click on User CP at the top of the page. On the left side, click "Edit Signature" enter your details and click "Preview Signature" When you're happy, click "Save Signature".

Now you can ask questions and anyone reading can see what engine/trans you have without having to ask.

It was, but you could only get a sedan with a 1.3L auto in 2001
