My username

I reallize this could be posted in a forum other than Car Modeling, but since I only post here, and it only concerns others who post here, I'll address it here.

I have not received any PM's regarding my username, but thought I should clarify its meaning.

It is pronounced with a G sound, as in Geese, with a z instead of se. It's an old highschool nickname, based on my last name, which has a first syllable pronounced "geese". It is not a short form of blasphemy, as in Jeez.

Anyway, to the heart of the matter... I'd like to change my username, but cannot, as the board tells me I'm registered here if I try to make a new username. I've tried deleting the cookie to this page and reregistering. Any thoughts as to how I could change my username?

Why was this moved? If you read the first post, it explains why I posted it in Car Modeling, as every one of those 156 posts was made in that forum!

BTW, this is the old Geez. I managed to create another account under another email address. I don't really care about post counts, so I'd rather not bother the admin for something as trivial as this.

So, the point is, Geez is no more. This is the same person, under the username DSM-Mark, 'cause Mark was taken.

Good thing this was posted in the introductions thread and not in the Car Modeling thread, eh?

What was wrong with the first nickname that you had to clarify it?

It can be read as a blasphemy (ie swear word for many christians). I thought I would avoid the conflict.
