no power steering
I have a 99 chevy express 2500, and one snowy day i was at an intersection waiting to turn right and got stuck in the snow. I rocked it and had to rev it up, but finally got out. But now I have no power steering. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Re: no power steering
Check the fluid level and the belt.

Re: no power steering
The fluid level is full. The belt seems fine. Theres only one belt and everything seems fine. I even checked the fuses and nothing was wrong there either.

Re: no power steering
The next most likely cause is the PS pump itself. It is possible that there is a problem in the steering box, but I have personally only observed that once over the years.
