Now i noticed the slip yoke when putting the new u-joint in that it seem both sides where the u-joint caps go are bent in a little bit and i can't believe i did it with a little heat but now i can't get the clips in to hold the u-joint in. if the yoke is bent this is the problem,clips won't go in....what you can do is use a bolt and with a nut/washer place between the yokes and use the bolt to bend the yokes back.use some heat to assist...
when the U joint is removed you need to properly support the yoke so that when hitting the U joint out you do not bend the yoke...
this is a common fix...if you use care you will not get a vibration...
