window problem

i have a 88 gmc s15 jimmy with the 4.3l engine.i have the electric window and the drivers side keeps popping off track.so then i have to take the siding off and pop it back in.it seems like the track thats screwed onto the glass is spread wide open alot more then it should be.anyone know what that part is called and where i can get it.

I've pulled them off for a broken window and took it down the street to a glass place and they used a glue and put a new one in the track after it dried
you would install the window. I think they are glued in not screwed. Ask a parts store who caters to mechanics for glue if yours isn't broken. If broken go to a vehicle glass dealer. Otherwise if broken metal buy a new or used one as the previous item suggested.
