Re: 2 questions for my dad seat belt dinger and power folding mirrors
the seat belt noise is set by the belt connetion ...to trick this into being always connected on the driverside of drivers seat rear support post is an electrical connector one wire...disconnect this, and you will not here chimes..
can the mirrors be that complicated....are they frozen ? |

Re: 2 questions for my dad seat belt dinger and power folding mirrors
There is a rocker switch at the top of the in-out/up-down switch. You center it, and then you can fold the mirrors with the in-out part of the larger switch.
...and wear your damn seatbelt. |

Re: 2 questions for my dad seat belt dinger and power folding mirrors
Hey there,
not sure about the wiring for the seat belt connectors, but when I had my truck in to reflash the Body Countrol Computer for a new CD Player, I asked the technician if I could get the seat belt warning removed and he pressed a couple buttons on his Tech 2 and it was gone, cost about 20bucks total for everything. As for the the mirrors its either one option or the other. The truck probably came from the factory with power folding mirrors & then the towing mirrors were added later. As far as I know the towing mirrors power in and out but have no folding abilities. Hope this helps. Danny-
