Metallic Blue Tamiya 1/12 Yamaha YZF-R1

Hi Everyone,

This is my first built for Bike. Never built a bike before.
Building this OOB
I haven't apply the decal but thinking of leave it just like that.
Or should i put on the decals?
Comments are always welcome

Looks very nice! I think you shall decal it up, cowls looks a bit unfinished this way. Maybe if you had painted it in some other color than stock, but now I think it needs the decals.

I agree with Joel.It needs the decals to liven up the body work as it looks a little plain without them.Very nicely built though and neatly painted especially the brakes, front forks etc.Maybe add some silver to the bolt head details on the fairing fasteners and front mud guard as well.

Looks like a clean build. I would use the decals . Now it looks like the bike isn't finished.

Applied some decals to make it look like a finished model and here are the updates.
Sorry for the poor shots of the bikes

Strange, how much those decals can do to the realism of a model. Now I think it looks much more real than in previous post. Well done!

I used the Tamiya TS-51 Telefonica Blue for the paint + TS-65 Pearl Clear
