need help

i have a 96 chrysler sebring conv 2.5l fuel pump was no good so i replaced it would not start so i checked battery low amp so i took it in to auto zone and had it recharged for 17hrs during that time i jump started the alt drove around block parked the car the next day i went and got battery put in and now it wont start it will crank but there is no spark i need to know what could of happened when i drove car with no battery also when turning key there is a light that comes on that says no buss what is a no buss?

As far as I know, jump starting and running an engine with no battery can cause harmful voltage spikes which can overload electronic components.

The battery acts like an electrical damper which absorbs much of these spikes.
