rack and pinion leaking

Developed a serious leak right below the steering shaft area. This happened suddenly when moving the vehicle off the driveway in fairly cold weather (-30F). Not crawled under yet to pinpoint the area but expect it's either the shaft or the bellows/seal area on left tie rod. Can anyone provide a detailed picture of parts or advice on repairs if it's the tie rod seal area. Could this seal be replaced on the vehicle? If it's the steering shaft the entire unit will need removal and that's no fun especially in winter weather. It's warmed up a bit now so tomorrow I'll get underneath and have a closer look.

TIA

Re: rack and pinion leaking

Let me know if you need more pix or instructions to take out the rack.
