2004 Sebring Battery

Where is the battery on a 2004 Sebring and how do you remove it?

Re: 2004 Sebring Battery

The battery, as odd as this sounds, is in front of the left front tire. There is an access panel there, most times you have to take off the tire to get to it. And I think all you need after the tire and access panel is an 8mm wrench, it's a side post like a GM. Hope this helps.

No wonder the car companies are going broke. No one wants to buy a car that you have to be a rocket scientist to work on. Thanks for the reply.

Re: 2004 Sebring Battery

There are many cars where the battery is in the fender. If u open your hood and you see jump start posts, the batter is most likly in the fender somewhere. But there are exceptions, like in the Chrysler 300 series cars and the Dodge Chargers where the batteries are in the trunk.
