Fuel Pressure Test Port

My sister has a 2003 Sentra GXE. When she attempts to start the vehicle it will often crank for a while and then finally start. It never fails to start but sometimes it cranks just a bit longer than other times. I want to check her fuel pressure with the engine off but I could not find the fuel pressure test port. I don't remember her engine size (1.8L or 2.0L). Can anyone be of assistance with this? Thanks.

Re: Fuel Pressure Test Port

There is no test port. You have to connect in line and without the proper pressure test kit you wont be able to do it. This is a very common problem. The pressure regulator is in the tank on the sending unit. You need part #22670-8u70c and #17342-01a00.
