Re: catless question

Yeah, if you are burning only a slight bit of oil you wont see it with a cat. The cat will filter that.

Without the cat its free flowing and any burning oil will be visible in the exhaust.

Re: catless question

It depends on how much oil you're burning. I have no cats, and I never see blue smoke.

This means it could be your valve stem seals, rings, or PCV valve. Obviously it's not going to get any better, so we can only hope it doesn't get any worse.

Re: catless question

i useto never see blue smoke, but i recently uped my boost to 17psi on the tiny stockers. i was thinking maybe its from my turbos blowin a small bit of oil bc i do have very small trace of oil in ic piping, maybe ill replace my pcv valve. i doubt its my rings or valve seals but never no. i am ordering new turbos tho. and as i was told it was only a very slight blue tint, and it was just like a lil puff not a constant color

Re: catless question

Dont run the stockers past 14psi.

Anything past that is past their effeciency range is just hot air. Its not helping any.
