Re: Grand Prix 2002

Check engine light on?

Sounds like it could be a clogged cat converter.

GM has extended the 2002 model year GP Cat Converter warrenty to 120,000 Miles (I believe).

How many miles are on it?

Re: Grand Prix 2002

my converter went bad around 50,000 miles. Didn't know about the GM converter warranty. Install a high flow aftermarket converter. GM paid for 85% of it after I connected with them. 75,000 miles now and still runs flawlessly.

Re: Grand Prix 2002

Is this an engine shake or vibration? Bad tire, rim?
